Hi Brian! I got a garbled email from you that I gleaned from everyone else was about Tampa Theater Auditions. I may or may not be able to make the auditions this year because I will be at a wedding in Orlando, but I am going to try my best. In anycase I just wanted to let you know that if I can't make the auditions please let me know if there is anything I can do to help out with the show. I spoke with Tara yesterday and told her as well. I still have the same cell phone number if you need to get in touch with me. My Z....com email is still valid or you can reach me at this email. Hope all is well.

A Ray of Sun through the Clouds... [Aug. 9th, 2005|04:16 pm]
[mood | cynical]
[music |The Gauntlet - Dropkick Murhpys]

Well, despite recent turmoil, had a blast at Warped Tour on Friday. My friend Kelly and I headed down early, or what we thought was early, about 11:40am, and the fucking bands were already playing (all the ads said noon).

Managed to catch all the bands I wanted to except MXPX: Dropkick Murphys, Transplants, Offspring, Millencolin, Street Dogs, Bedouin Soundclash. Also checked out My Chemical Romance for a few minutes before walking to the other side of the compound for Motion City Soundtrack, and walked by The A.K.A.S on the way back.

Funniest of all, fell asleep during Story of the Year. They're really not bad, but I can't get over their horribly-overplayed video from last year, and I ran out of fuel (realized I had only eaten a bowl of cereal all damn day - does beer count as food?).

Was very impressed with Offspring, sounded the same live (which doesn't always happen). Also impressed with Riverboat Gamblers, who Street Dogs had raved about, so we checked them out - wildest frontman I've ever seen.

Last week both [info]darkwing2022 and [info]geodiaz had tickets for me to go to Gigantour last night, which I was looking forward to (yes, metalhead though I've been, I had never seen Megadeth live). I was kinda dragging ass at the show, until Megadeth came on - awesome.
