Well, I haven't posted in over a week, not for lack of wanting to or interesting stuff to talk about, I've just been suffering from some strange LJ writer's block, reading along and wanting to post and then - nothing. Nada. Blank. Zip. Maybe from overwork - it's first quarter end and we're slammed.
Starting from my last post -
Tues, had dinner with mom, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) darkwing2022 and family at my favorite Italian restaurant, Gino's, before mom left on Wed.
Wed, after weeks of keeping busy, I was looking forward to a week of quiet, nothing-to-do time, but that didn't happen. Rather than relax at home, went to Java Junction with geodiaz, fearangel, and djpsychobilly.
Then spent Thur nite with darkwing2022.
Fri was a nice surprise, djpsychobilly invited me to join him, geodiaz, fearangel and her friend from NY to go see the Legendary Shack Shakers, Skinny McGee & His Mayhem Makers, and The Vodkanauts at Skippers Smokehouse. Great show except for getting soaked!
Spent Sat discovering the joys of
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
That nite went to the only thing I actually had planned for this week, Horror Punx Unite at the Brass Mug. with fionathecelt, darkwing2002, and Kelly, and had a blast. One of the better shows I've seen at the Mug in a while.
Sun, had plans to go to RennFest, but they fell through. Come hell or high water, I'll be there this weekend.
Mon, ended up working overtime, and still went to darkwing2022's for dinner.
Tue, Liz and Tommy called and invited me out, so we ended up at The Globe for coffee. Which brings me to...
Wed, and another day of overtime, fuck!
