OK, first I know you can back-date a LJ entry, but when something happens isn't as important, in my mind, as when I choose to write about it.
About a month or so ago, I bought a book. When I bought it, it wasn't the first time I'd seen it...
It was in the Sports section, where I regularly peruse the Martial Arts books. I was horrified, shocked, appalled, offended to the core of my being, more poseur-ass fucks putting out poseur-ass shit.
...But then, about a month ago, I had some time to kill at the bookstore, and happened across it again. So, for a laugh, I decided to read a bit.
Imagine my shock, these chicks were for real! Definitely not poseurs, and I was impressed by the fact they were, or at least pulled off an excellent simulation of being, the real deal.
