| Happy New Year, all! |

Had a great time this weekend. Started partying Friday, had three stops to make. First, dropped in at my friends Maggie and Neil's place. They were nice enough to invite me, so even though I had plans I thought I'd make an appearance.
From there, headed to my best friends Chris and Liz's house and hung out for a while.
Then, off to ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) obsidiangryphon's party, which is sadly the only time I usually see a lot of my old friends. Very happy to see obsidiangryphon and satyrkat, hopefully will see more of them with RennFest coming up. Also happy and suprised to see Pete, back in town for the holidays. matthias_9 was missed, I'll have to call him and see where the hell he was, and dragonflii_echo was supposed to show, but I did get a midnite "Happy New Year" message - which due to my POS compliant phone I couldn't return until the following day. Also, got to spend a little time talking to fionathecelt, who I've seen at parties before but never spoken to much.
After staying till 5:30am, I'd had enough. Headed home to sleep til 2pm, and started making plans for Sat. night. djpsychobilly, fearangel, and dragonflii_echo all met me at geodiaz's house for some Atmosfear. I feel strangely defeated, we had a great time, but the damn Gatekeeper beat us both times! Deciding discretion was the better part of valor, we switched to Trivial Pursuit: the 90s edition, equally fun. Of course as usual, I had just as much, if not more, fun sitting and talking than I did playing.
All in all, a great weekend! |
